Are there any fics out there that explore the Jack that gave up the children? Why he was so destitute and feeling so uncaring that he would do that? What had happened to him?

And also, are there any Jack/Lucia stories at all? They had to be in love at some stage to have had such an awful falling out.

So I'm looking for good fics that delve into what Jack was up to (or who he was into) between CoE and his return on MD.
